WHAT
THEY
NEEDED
In late 2023, Phil simply came to me with an IDEA for a business - custom accent walls. Since the accent walls he installed in his own home had his family amazed, he wanted to entertain a new side-gig.
We started with a business launch project: focussing on creating a brand identity, applying that brand identity to a video campaign, and distributing that video campaign strategically through social media and a new website.
After the business was launched in January 2024, focus was then shifted to establishing a consistent source of video content for social media, direct advertising, and also designing the print materials needed for in-person engagements with home owners
RESULTS
After the branding and website started to come together, Phil quickly saw the potential in Modern Accent Walls, and with his family cheering him on, he committed to his vision full-time and officially launched the business on January 2nd, 2024. His business accomplishments since then have been life changing for him and his family.
Modern Accent Walls is on track for well over a million dollars in sales within their first year, and every time Phil and I work on new projects, it seems like their growth is happening at an exponential rate.
What was once considered as a possible side gig has become much, much bigger than Phil could have imagined.

BRANDING DESIGN
Phil and I discussed maintaining a brand identity that feels “Modern” and “Luxurious” to resonate with his ideal customers.
With that information, I chose a mostly black and white color palette with gold accents, and recommended adding “Luxury Custom Walls” underneath the logo.
Once we had our initial design centered around the “M”, I created vertical and horizontal versions of the logo, for both light and dark backgrounds

In order to immediately start accepting in-home appointments, Modern Accent Walls needed a website to direct potential customers to. This online hub allowed interested customers to learn more about the business, find design inspiration for their project, and book a consultation!

For his first batch of content, I had Phil complete an install in his own home and sit down for an interview to tell the story of how Modern Accent Walls began. This was used as the first ads, posts, and content for the website.
