Let Me Introduce Myself

My name is Nathan (known as n810 by some people), and I am currently the one-man media army behind CRE810. My career thus far has been a balancing act of full-time media production work, part time event broadcast work, and even additional freelance work on the side when I’ve had time.

But you wont catch me complaining, because I’ve built a career off of my passion: creating art for real-life purposes.

The story behind CRE810 Media

2015

My First Video…

It all started when my high school’s football field got demolished to install turf - I was a senior, and an enthusiastic student section leader at all the games. When I heard we’d only have two home games at the end of the season, I had to do something to encourage our football fans to show up to the rest of them. At the time… I was using Microsoft Moviemaker and a Word document for the graphics, but I quickly fell in love with making these simple videos and the reactions that ensued when they were played on the morning announcements

…turned into a couple more videos… and a new passion.

By the time I graduated High School, I had become “the video guy” in all of my classes. I even made an elaborate video for my talent show where I - well… made my principal disappear. By this point in my life, I had cancelled all plans of studying engineering in college and decided to pursue Media Arts & Design at James Madison University.

2016

Hot Start to College

By the time my first classes started, I had already locked down a position as a student video producer in the JMU Athletic Communications department. This gave me the opportunity to dive head first into creative media, learning behind professionals and using industry standard equipment/softwares. This is also how I secured my first cameraman position at the football games, a role I have yet to let go of.

The clip shown here was the first one I had ever created that was played on the stadium video board - an accomplishment at the time that I’ll never forget

2017-2018

Slowly Building

Throughout college I only ever got more and more busy with new opportunities that came about. I grew my skills in the JMU Athletic Comms department, worked for ESPN College Gameday when they visited, and continued working football games as a cameraman. I even served a Vice President in my tour guide org!

2019

Making the NFL Leap

In the summer of 2019, I used my experience to lock down an internship position Washington Commanders. This opportunity served to be one of my most valuable in terms of growing my vast network and refining my skills around the industries top professionals. Id say I fit in well - by my second week in, I was relied on to edit content as a member of the team, and that continued throughout.

I Even Made a Short Film

“Nepenthe” is a suspenseful short film that I was responsible for shooting and editing among a team of two others. This project was one of my most rewarding, and won a couple awards at national film festivals.

2020-2021

Ready for the real worl- oh…

Graduating during a pandemic with a resume full of sports experience can be quite the challenge. But in the face of adversity and uncertainty, I managed to land my first full-time job as a Videographer/Marketing Specialist at Beltway Blinds. With this role, both myself and the company grew tremendously. I became efficient at producing creative material ranging from videos, to graphics, to print designs.

Sticking to My Roots

On top of my full time-job, I continued occasional work at JMU athletic games, and even secured a live-editing position at Washington Commanders games. At the time, not even fans were allowed in the stadium. I also organized as many freelance gigs as I could with clients like BallerTV, KZFitCoach, Bumruk Chairs, and other various clients

2022

A Whole New World

In April of 2022, I accepted a new Video Editor/Content Strategist role, learning about the overlapping worlds of E-sports, content creation, and game development with Akrew. These industries, as well as platforms like discord and twitch, were completely foreign to me when I started. Not only was I able to adapt, I grew exponentially in areas like motion graphic design, YouTube content planning, and remote media management.

Embracing My Own Art

In 2022 I also began to explore making my own personal content. I’ve learned so much about myself by pushing the limits of my comfort zone, both physically and with my own creations. I took over five months to create this video about the concept of living presently.

2023

The Moment I’ve Been Waiting For

Those who know me well know that in the face of adversity, not only do I find a way to make it out, but I’ll also find a way to thrive on the other side of it too. So when I lost my job unexpectedly in the summer of 2023, I made the decision to finally pursue my own business. In comes CRE810 Media Services. At this stage in my career, I have both the media production skills and business knowledge to not only run a successful operation myself, but to help others with theirs too. And I’m ready to get to work!

Pricing - What to Expect

You’ll notice that there is a lack of prices on my website, and that is for two reasons. The first reason is that every client and their project will be unique, and the nature of the services I provide requires an initial vision breakdown to plan out the time needed to accomplish it. The second reason is that your creative vision and current online needs will always be my top priority. Let’s discuss how we can make an impact before we talk about how much you’ll want to invest into it.

My business is fully integrated with Honeybooks, so I’m able to offer payment plans that fit your schedule. At the beginning of every project, I will send you a service contract, as well as an invoice to pay a portion up front. Once those are done, your project is on its way to being completed!
